Artist Bios
An Austrian war refugee from Bosnia, Velibor Baco is a former legal counsel, distressed debt restructurer, and banker. He currently works as a case manager and caretaker and creates poetry, abstract acrylic art paintings, writing, digital art, and music. He has 55+ publications and was the runner up for the Erik-Neutsch Literature award.
Guilherme Bergamini is a Brazilian reporter, photographer, and visual artist who graduated with a degree in journalism. His works explore the artist’s dialogue between memory and social political criticism, and he believes in photography as the aesthetic potential and transforming agent of society. Bergamini has been awarded in national and international competitions and has participated in collective exhibitions in 54 countries.
Elizabeth Schoonmaker is a multidisciplinary artist and lives in the Town of Plainfield in Upstate New York. Through her practice, Elizabeth explores line in a variety of materials with vigor, strength, and sensitivity. She is the author and illustrator of the picture books Square Cat and Square Cat ABC, published by Aladdin Books/Simon & Schuster.
