Artist Bios

Kathy Bruce is a visual artist based in Upstate New York and Argyll & Bute, Scotland. Her work explores archetypal female and mythological forms within the context of poetry, literature and the natural environment. Ms. Bruce is the recipient of numerous awards including a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Fellowship, two Fulbright-Hayes scholar grants, and a Ford Foundation Grant. She has exhibited her work in the U.K., U.S. and internationally, including Senegal, Taiwan, Denmark, Peru, France, and Canada. Her collages have appeared in Three Rooms Press, The Vassar Review, Alchemy Literary Magazine, Open Minds Quarterly Journal, The Perch Yale University School of Medicine, The New Southern Fugitives, Up the Staircase Quarterly, The Ignition literary Journal, The Variant Literature, Landlocked Literary Magazine, The Rejoiner Rutgers University, The Brooklyn Review, Twyckenham Notes, The Porter House Review, Pushing Out the Boat, The National Women’s History Museum, and Minding Nature.  Instagram: @kat2bruce

GJ Gillespie is a collage artist living in a 1928 farmhouse overlooking Oak Harbor on Whidbey Island (north of Seattle). In addition to natural beauty, he is inspired by art history—especially mid-century abstract expressionism. Winner of 20 awards, his art has appeared in 60 shows and more than 90 publications.

Jennie E. Park is a Southern California-based Korean American artist, writer, and curator interested in integrated approaches to honesty, world-generating dynamics of entanglement and truthful paradox, and structural social change. Her multimedia, project-based work has been exhibited internationally; in 2020 and 2021, she received two MOZAIK Future Art Awards and a MOZAIK Future Art Writers Award.
